Mountain View, Arkansas

like while visiting Mountain View. There are plenty of fun filled
family activites throughout the year and festivals that appeal
to music lovers, art connoisseurs, and fun loving folks in general.

bluegrass music in same way.
Beanfest & Great Championship Outhouse Races
Arkansas Folk Festival The oldest festival is the 45th
Annual Arkansas Folk Festival, held in the glorious spring, this
year on April 19th - 21st, 2007. A highlight of this festival is
an old fashioned "home-town" parade, which brings out school
bands, patriotic veterans groups, dudded-up horses, and decorated
floats of all sorts.
Beanfest and the Great
Championship Outhouse Race! If filling up on beans and cornbread
and then cheering wildly decorated outhouses as they careen down
the street sounds like fun, then the Beanfest
and the Great Championship Outhouse Race, the last Saturday
in October is for you. There is plenty of pickin' on the Square
to be found during The Beanfest, in addition to a talent show,
craft booths throughout town, and great beans & cornbread
for all. [Click here for more...]
